What am I going to give away? I call it: "greetings from Holland". I had a lot of leftovers and the fabric is so Dutch!
10 pieces of around 9 1/2" square each and some nice ribbons too!
What do you have to do?
Leave me a message and tell me what you really don't like to eat and what do you do when it is served at your table?
Make sure I can email you. The give away closes at 24.00 Dutch (west european) time at december 17th. I will activate the ramdom number generator at dec. 18th. At the right you find the logo to get to all other participants and have fun blog hopping!
One confession from me: I really hate fish, the smell alone is too much ....brrrr!!

Wat een leuk idee!!
Love the red Dutch fabric. I love to eat steak. Sometimes I can just get a taste for a good steak. Do not get to eat it very often,
Geweldig leuk idee Conny!
mooie lapjes, doe graag mee.
fijn weekend, groet Anneke
I am not a picky person, I can say I eat about everything. But I am not a big enthusiast of chickpeas...
I really don't like seafood. Just can't bear the smell. If it is served I probably just have to quitt eating. Hopefully they have something next to it. So I don't have to leave the table hungry...!
Groetjes Evelien.
I do not like brussel sprouts and if they are served to me I will just not touch them
I really hate anything with peppermint or coconut. Peppermint upsets my stomach. But I love citrus, seafood, and caramel.
I don't like liver.....and if it is on the table I just won't eat it. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!
I don't like Butterscotch pudding, I just avoid it :D
Thanks for the giveaway :D
I don't like beets. They smell too much like dirt to me. When they are served I politely pass the dish to the next person without taking any.
Thank you for the chance to win!
I don't like sauerkraut ... thank goodness it's never been served to me.
Thanks.
what a cute give away, love the dutch fabrics! i'm originally from Denmark but live in NC-usa now and married to my husband and have 2 kids.... I was trying to slowly read my way thru the post and almost gave up, then saw the english version HA HA
I thought I could maybe read it since I was taught english german and french and then my danish- but it took too long...
There's not much I won't eat...maybe tripe...if it was served I'd be polite and try it, but then I might flee the scene...
I love chicken but dislike brussel sprouts.
I don't like brussel sprouts so if I'm served any I just push them to the side
I don't like spicy food but I loves food that rich with omega 3
interesting question! im a picky eater so here is my method: i would take/ask for a very small portion...and if that didnt fail, i would sneakily dump it on my husbands plate since he eats anything!! i love your Dutch fabrics and ribbons! thank you for a chance.
I don't like raw fish in sushi. Fortunately my husband loves it so I can pass it off to him! Thank you for the opportunity!!
BEAUTIFUL fabric! I SO love red - my all time favorite color. :0)
I HATE liver and can't even stand the smell of it. IF it were served, I would have to politely just ignore it. YUK No way would I eat it. LOL
I hate cabbage among other things, but I have lots of practice eating things I don't like - when I was little my mother made me eat everything that was in my plate whether I like it or not so now whenever that happens I eat it with a poker face and no one can tell. It just takes some practice :)
Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
ap_lemos at yahoo dot com
I dislike yams & sweet potatoes! I would just not eat them or give them to hubby! Thanks for a chance to win your awesome "RED" giveaway! Red is actually my son's favorite color! :)
bcgeates at netbistro dot com
Groetjes Corry
I love that fabric, Conny. It would go so well in my red and white, 2 color quilt that I am planning to start after Christmas.
I really dislike oatmeal and if it is served to me, I simply say, No thanks, I'm not hungry right now". The funny thing is I make it all the time for my husband, as long as I don;t have to eat it.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Brussels sprouts ,I would simply leave them on my plate ,maybe not polite but I hate them so; ) thanks for the chance to win.
I can't eat anything raw...unless it's fruit and veggies. If it's served to me, I look for the family dog.
I won't eat tripe-yuk! but my hubby loves it so I cook it for him. Me?- I love steak and pork ribs. :)
Merry Xmas from Australia.
I don't like dumplings- I just can't eat them - too soggy and gummy texture..
I just avoid them - not sure how I would get around eating them.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop,
Regards,
Anna
thank you for the chance to win! I will eat just about anything...except pickled herring
Hi from Australia - I love to eat roast lamb and all the trimmings and pavlova for desert but I don't like to eat anything too spicy! Thanks for the chance - love red and white and love the dutch fabrics!
I can't stand Christmas pudding....I know shock, horror!! If I'm given it at a dinner party I need to drown it in custard as that's the only way I can force myself to eat it without upsetting the hostess by refusing it :( Barb.
Coconut is the only food I can't stand!!! I won't eat it in any form!!
I love the fabric! Thank you for the chance to win. :) I really do not like meatloaf, but since I am usually the cook it does not end up on my table. :)
I don't like cooked turnips. I just will not eat them.
what beautiful fabrics. thanks for the giveaway.
I totally avoid mushrooms and when they are served I just say "No Thanks!"
Oh I love your red fabric. It would be so neat to have fabric from a different country. (I live in the USA). There is not alot that I don't like to eat. hehe. I don't like liver. All of my family knows it and they are not bothered if I don't eat it.
Thanks so much for your giveaway and a chance to win. I'm also a new follower and excited to read a blog from the Netherlands!
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com
LOL, there are lots of things I don't like to eat. Fish, cooked spinach, and many others. I think okra is the worst. Just saying the word makes me sick to my stomach. If it is served, I either just pass on it or leave it sitting on my plate.
The fabrics are so pretty. I would love to win.
Anything that swims and lima beans.
Conny - you are CRAZY!! Fish is so delicious :-) I love salmon, mmmm. I love pizza and other junk that is bad for me.
I especially don't like lima beans, okra, or grits. I wish they weren't ever invented. Thanks for visiting my giveaway (mochawildchild) and thanks for yours!
Thank you for the chance to win! I don't like sauerkraut. For Christmas we will have Turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, corn, rolls :-)
Kelly (at) mysimplewalk (dot) com
There's not much I don't like but guess I'd say calamari - although I like most seafood (as long as it's fish that I'm not picking bones out of!) I would just politely as possible pass on something I didn't like. I DO however like your pretty red fabrics! Holiday greetings from Canada!
I don't like broccoli
I don't like broccoli
Love the fabric! I really don't like herring, but will tolerate it if marinated!
Connie you are like your cousin Ed, he does not like fish or the smell of it being cooked in the house. I love almost everything except head cheese and anchovies. The red and white blocks would be amazing for an Canadian/Dutch quilt
I love me a good rare steak but always pass on pork chops! thanks!
The fabrics and ribbons are beautiful and I would put them in to a crazy quilt if I won!
I really do not care for oysters and if they were served at the table where I was sitting, I would have to keep my eyes down because I cannot watch anyone else eat them either.
Now if a good steak was being served, I would be all smiles.
I hate seafood and if I went some place that didn't serve any thing else I would go without. I love vegetables and the white meat of pork loin don't like ham. Happy Holiday to You and Yours.
I love the fabric, red is a beautiful color and the wind mills just love it.
I really don't like fish. If someone serves me fish I usually eat a bit, then leave the rest. I usually inform the person serving the fish that I have a hard time digesting fish. I usually feel sick after I eat it!! They usually understand.
I don't like oranges. I don't eat them. If I get some by mistake, I only eat the one bite. Thanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas!
I love this red dutch fabric - collect a lot of the blue (dutch descent) - there are not a lot of things I don't like, but if something is not to the liking I was always taught to take a 'thank you' taste and politely leave the rest.
Hello! Thanks for the giveaway! I'd love to win! Nice Fabric! Happy Holidays! :)
Sushi. No sushi for me thank you.
Thanks for your giveaway. Fun blog.
Ooooo I just love that red fabric and such lovely ribbon and lace. As for my least favorite food...shrimp...yech! If served I would most likely leave it on my plate. Thanks for the hosting a giveaway.
I love the Dutch fabric! I even have a quilt and stitchery pattern on my blog that it would go great with! I will show you another day.
I don't like blue vein cheese. I just don't eat it and tell people I am lactose intolerant! Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful fabrics and ribbons, Dianne
Hi Conny. I like most foods. I don't eat mushrooms though because I get so sick from them so that eliminates lots of food choices at restaurants. When I was a child we had a Dutch girl, Truce live with us for awhile. It was great fun for us. Love you fabrics and ribbons. Thanks for the chance to win.
Lieve Groetjes
Tertia
Thank you for those beautiful fabrics! I can't wait to win!
I really do not like Brussel Sprouts, just the smell turns me off....even if they are covered in cheese!
lovely fabrics. I hope to win, if not please tell me where I could buy those amazing fabrics. I don't like food too salted. thank you for this chance. hugs
What a great question! I am not a fan of oily fish food, but if forced to eat it I have a quick swallow of wine to follow it!!!!
I love your Dear Jane header.
thanks for the give-away. Your dear Jane is gorgeous! When I am served food I don't like, I push it around a bit to make it look like I have eaten some : )
Oh my, I do NOT like seafood. YUCK! My husband loves it but I won't cook it at home, lol! Grill me up a nice steak (with baked potato) and I'm happy, especially if the dessert contains chocolate :)
Thank you for a lovely giveaway - your fabrics and trims are just gorgeous! My fingers are crossed :)
Beautiful fabric. Thanks for the opportunity to enter. I like to eat almost any dessert. I like to serve it on a very pretty set table.
It is so nice to go international with your lovely blog! Your giveaway will compliment my fabricholic collection!
I love chocolate but once was served chocolate wine and while I believe the two belong together combined into a drink did not work for me!!!
Woohoo! I have my husband a gift of life, for our third wedding anniversary, I announced (I had our fancy dinner server at Roy's in Hawaii, give him a card with a cute announcement) I was pregnant with our second child and daughter... precious in deed!
Aloha from Hawaii! Cheers! Linda at Quilting Under The Influence

I definitively hate mushroms !!! when there's some in my plate I spread them all around ...
I have liver and try to push it under something else on my plate
I love the beautiful fabric! I am not a picky eater so I will eat most anything. But I love coconut and strawberries. I don't like deer meat. It makes me think of Bambi. Thank you for the great giveaway! Joyce--ccarter13@windstream.net
I will eat just about anything that someone else cooks for me. I do not really care for venison but will try it, if it is served to me. I really love your fabric and I am saying a little pray that I am picked. It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas
I really don't like tomatoes so I usually ask for them to be omitted from the dish if I am at a restaurant but if that can't happen I just push them to the side of my plate. Thanks for the great giveaway!
Merry Christmas! Thanks for this giveaway! The only thing that I don't eat is a southern US dish called collard greens/mustard greens. I will eat them, but I realized that some folks love them and that if I don't eat them, there is more for the ones who love them to eat:)
Love the reds. My favorite color. I won't eat okra, my husband and son love the stuff. Give me potatoes in any form and I will cleaning my plate.
I don't like lima beans and if they're served, I just won't eat them. Thank you for the chance for the lovely giveaway!
I really do *not* like peas! I have to be rude and leave them on my plate because I just cannot eat them LOL
Thanks for the chance!
Conny so nice to meet a fellow dutchwoman who is also a passionate quiter. Have you been to Stegens? I love that winkel! I am all right at reading dutch but write it poorly, however I do use my word book alot! LOL
The one thing I cannot tolerate is drinking carnemelk!
So happy you visited my blog and that we are followers of each others blogs.
Connie's quilt is beautiful! Food I hate oysters slimy yuk... Thankfully only served on a pot luck and was able to ignore them. I love the Dutch prints
I do not like brussels sprouts. If my hubby is with me I will pass them to him as he loves them, otherwise I am afraid they have to stay on the plate.
The fabrics and ribbons are beautiful. Thank you for being part of the giveaway.
Fortunately there is nothing that I despise so much that I can't choke it down! Love the Dutch-look fabric - so very cute!
Lovely Dutch fabric!
I rarely don't like any food but oysters are another story! I will leave the table when they are served.
nicolesender(at)yahoo(dot)com
I hate beans!, If I have a plate of them in front of me I just run as fast as I can!.
Lovely fabrics,
Thank you for the chance.
Greetings from Sweden! I have to say, while I love smoked eel at Christmas, it doesn't love me. So now I don't love it anymore, and I politely leave it alone while whistfully looking at it. Gorgeous red and ribbons, what a nice finishing touch!
oooh lovely giveaway!
I also don't like fish. I can't stand the smell either. And I also don't like the taste or smell of coffee. I know - so strange in this coffee loving world.
I do love chocolate & just about any sweet foods :)
Such pretty fabrics and trims!
I detest "minute steaks," which are sinewy cuts of beef that have been processed beneath a toothed rolling device that both flattens the meat and tenderizes it. However, the meat is stringy and disgusting. I love sweet potatoes! I like to bake them until they are tender and a bit caramelized. So tasty!
Gorgeous fabric! I absolutely hate liver. If it is served then I will eat everything else and pass on the meat. YUCK!!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter your great giveaway!
I don't like peas. I will passéd it to other person before I eat my meal.
I hate canned peas! I will give it to the dogs if I have it on my plate : ) Thanks so much for the chance to win the lovely Dutch fabric and trims. Red is my favorite color!
Thank you for an awesome giveaway. I am making a red and white flower basket quilt and the fabrics would be perfect for that! I don't like liver or sweet potatoes. Other than that, I LOVe food. I don't have to worry about these things being served during the holidays. It they were served, I would just skip them.
There's not much I don't like to eat. If fish is brought to the table with heads on, or Octopus and Squid aren't cut up I'll ask for it to be covered. I cannot eat with dead eyes staring at me.
Fab fabric! I'm hoping hard on this one!
Hoi,
Aan mijn man geven!
Groet, Tynke
I do not like to eat rabbit. If you serve someone will stand up.
I welcome from Hungary. Very nice I've been there a week last year, the Netherlands.
I hate mayonaise - I fave all kinds of vegetables. Love your Dutch fabrics :)
Red and White is my favorite color combo...there's only one thing (ok two) I will NOT eat. Liver and liverwurst...when I go on quilt retreats he and our son go on liver and onion binges
I love the smell of coffee but I don't like the taste of it...
First, thank you for your generosity.
I do not drink coffee. Even the smell of it makes my stomach sick. If it is served, I politely decline and try to breathe through my mouth (subtly) until the smell is gone.
rhaubejoi@yahoo.com
I really don't like crab meat. When it is served I just say, Thank you, I don't care for any. It works just fine. I love your fabrics. They are so beautiful! Thanks.
What pretty Dutch fabric and ribbons!
I HATE lima beans, I would politely say "no thank you"
I hate peas and have to leave them on my plate,
I simlpy cannot eat oysters. Done it once - never again!!!
Leuke lapjes hoor!!!
I hate liver. I can't stand it, not even the smell.
Thanks for the chance.
I don't eat seafood and any kind of
fishes
These reds are wonderful, I like reds
What a beautiful blog! I LOVE the fabric in the giveaway, I hope I win! As to what I do not like on my table that would be, liver, YUCK! Pretty much anything else, I like, I'm not very picky lol! Thank you!
Thank you for giveaway! I dont like too hot meal and even if it served I would just skip it)
Can't stand liver and thankfully I've never been served it! :)
Cute fabric.
I don't like cooked mushrooms - eek!
I don't care for fish either. If I'm served fish at a friend's house I slide it off on to my husband's plate. I love your fabric. Thanks for the giveaway.
I can't stand beets! Just the smell gets to me.
I don't like bananas. And I don't eat them. Fortunately people don't often serve you bananas on your plate. If I get a fruit salad with them in I pick them out. Lovely giveaway.
I don't like the smell of truffels. Years ago me and my husband where invited to a wedding and there was a dish serfed with truffel and truffel-oil - it was hard not to show how bad I got off the smell. Thank Good I do not belong to the rich and beautyful, so I do not have to have this one on my plate:)
Thanks for this lovely giveaway!
Clams~~Yuck! I politely decline.
rjbmom7@optonline.net
I don't like most vegetables, so I will just move them around, but leave them there! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I dont like brussels sprouts. I play around with it. Since you are Dutch I have to say that breudher (supposed to be originally Dutch) is very much part of a Sri Lankan Christmas.
I really dislike liver and it would just have to stay on the plate if it was served. Though I have gagged down liver pate at a dinner party.
I was born in holland, and my favorite is the speculates cookies. The best are the ones from holland.
Thanks
I really don't like liver. As a kid I would feed it to the dog. Thanks for the chance.
Bah!
Beautiful Fabric, thanks for a chance to win it. I don't like anchovies but most ofter fish is ok.
Happy to be part of this blog hop, I am hopping from Canada. I am a new follower.
My own cooking is ok but not so wonderful, I would prefer to eat someone else's like my mother's cooking for instance..her food is so nice. Is it the years of practice, I wonder?
I absolutely cannot stand the smell of cooking mushrooms! I think it's just the worst! I like peanut butter but not peanuts, tomato sauce but not tomatoes... I'm pretty funny about food :)
I don't care for oysters. If they are served at my table, I pass the platter to the next person!
I don't like - oysters, snails, clams, mussels, crabs, shrimp, squid, and lots of other things. When it is served - I just pass it along to the next person and get a double helping of bread and potato.
:)
No one really minds.
Merry Christmas! :)
Love the pretty fabrics.

I don't like green bean casserole, so when it's on the table I don't eat it. lnb1191(at)aol(dot)com
I don't like raw tomatoes in any form, so I just push them to the side of the plate or don't take them. Thanks for the giveaway!
kessilari(at)gmail (dot) com
Oh my gosh... LOVE!! That fabric is sooooo beautiful!! I hate eating brussel sprouts... yuuuuck... ew ew.. Thanks for the chance to win a fun prize!! Happy holidays! xo
krencamp (at) gmail (dot) com
That's a very nice selection of red Dutch fabrics, Conny. Thanks for the giveaway. I am a very fussy eater so there are a lot of foods that I don't like. I just don't eat them and try to eat more of what I like. If there's not enough, I go hungry, LOL!
My friend is from Holland, it would be fun to sew her something with this fabric.
I like to eat pretty much anything but fish.
I am a huge fan of shawarmas with extra garlic sauce. I moved across the country a few months ago, and it turns out they don't have those here. *sigh* something to look forward to on my visits back home.
I cannot handle lutefisk. Sorry. It hasn't been offered to me for a very long time so I'm safe. Thank you for the giveaway. This blog hop is great fun.
What beautiful fabric and trim! Thank-you for this chance to win. I really hate fish/sea food as well (the smell too!), so I simply say that I am allergic. This stops all of the "try mine, I promise it doesn't taste fishy at all" comments. Everyone always thinks theirs is the best and that if I just try it I will discover that in fact I do really like fish. Allergies stop people in their tracks - and a little white lie is better than hurting their feelings when I gag on the first bite!
kario66@hotmail.com
My husband is from Groningen and while we were there in June I also picked up some Dutch fabric and trim from the Groote Markt in Groningen. I would love to add to my small Dutch stash!
I am really not so picky about food, but my husband does not like seafood. Yet when his boss fed him salmon for supper, he ate it all and quite liked it! I however, am still not allowed to make it at home.
I would love to win this! I can't tell you how excited I get about receiving something from overseas - especially when it represents the country so well! I really don't like to eat peanut butter (unless it's mixed with sugar and chocolate!)
Oh that lovely fabric! So lovely..
I do not like and will never eat frogs legs! My son and husband grilled them this summer and I had to leave the table while they ate them!
mynadala@gmail.com
Liver has the texture of pottery clay! Yuk. I see there are others who agree with me! I would just have to say No, Thank you.
Well, it depends how much I don't like it. I'm a pretty picky eater. *grin* If it's shrimp, I can't even be at the same table with it. If it's something I just don't care for - like mushrooms - I just avoid it quietly and eat more of the rest of the meal. We had venison steaks tonight - gross - so I just ate more yummy bread and salad. :)
Thanks for the opportunity to win those lovely fabrics! :)
